About the Lecture: This beautifully illustrated lecture will present highlights from the Chipstone Foundation's important collection of 17th and 18th century British and American ceramics.  Drawing upon his diverse experience, Mr. Hunter will provide a broader context for many of these objects using his archaeological background and experience with the history of ceramic technology.   In addition, a thoughtful social framework will be presented for better appreciating  the role of teapots and punch bowls in 18th-century  Anglo-American culture
