About the San Francisco Ceramic Circle Seminar Program

This seminar, comprised of six lectures by three eminent speakers, will explore the sources used
for the forms and decoration of early English and Dutch ceramics. The talks will cover both
the work of modellers and painters and will suggest new directions for collecting

Admission to the seminar is $150 per person with a $10 discount for early registration. See the Registration form for details

Seminar access to the museum will be from the West terrace except for the lunch break on Saturday when access is from the main entrance.

The seminar starts at 5:30 pm on Friday with registration and a reception in the Constance and Henry Bowles Porcelain Gallery. Wine, beverages and refreshments will be served. There will be one lecture starting at 7:00 pm. Friday's program will finish by 8:15 pm. All lectures are given in the Florence Gould Theater.

On Saturday, the West terrace doors will be open from 8:30 am and the morning program of two lectures starts at 9:00 am with mid morning coffee break at around 10:15 am and a break for lunch starting at 11:45 pm.

Adequate time has been allowed to enable participants to lunch in the public section of the Café and explore the museum's collections or to participate in an optional set lunch that is being offered as at a cost of $30.00 per person at a local restaurant.

The afternoon program will resume at 2:00 pm for the final three lectures. There will be time for questions after each lecture. The seminar will finish at 4:45 pm.
