Hard paste porcelain was now fully perfected and became more available.

KPM, Berlin under the Royal patronage became the most important German factory.

Magnificent decoration was found on the important services and ornamental vases.

Many smaller factories in the Thuringia area produced charming and unusual figures and wares.

Vases decorated and encrusted with applied flowers were known as "Dresden" ware.

Meissen reintroduced many of the 18th century figures and continued several popular table patterns including the well-known"Blue Onion" pattern.
